Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Polosa company, which is part of the Rychal-Su group of companies, will build a large fruit storage facility in the Suleiman-Stalsky district of Dagestan. More than 50,000 tons of apple crops from Dagestan orchards can be stored in ideal conditions.
By 2030, a giant storage facility for long-term storage of apples will be built in the Suleiman-Stalsky district of Dagestan with a capacity of 50,000 tons. The silo will be built by the Polosa company, which is part of the Rychal-Su group of companies. The company grows apples in its own gardens.
The company has already received a loan from VTB Bank for 1.1 bn rubles, which allows the first stage of the investment project to be carried out. In 2024, a storage facility with a capacity of more than 11,000 tons will be built. Thus, the conditions for long-term storage, including a controlled gas environment, will be created in the facility.
In the future, when the fruit storage facility reaches its design capacity, which is planned for 2030, it will be possible to store up to 50,000 tons of delicious fruits. The total area of the storage will reach 50,000 square meters. The total investment in the project will amount to 5,2 bn rubles, the press service of the bank informs.
The apples will be stored in the new silo with modern equipment without loss of presentation and consumer properties for 8–10 months, which means that the company will be able to supply fruits with excellent taste and organoleptic properties to stores all year round,” Director-General of Polosa LLC Omar Abdulmutalibov says.
The Polosa agro-industrial company cultivates apples and hazelnuts on an area of more than 5,000 hectares of land in the Suleiman-Stalsky district of Dagestan. The company regularly encounters problems associated with the sale of the crop due to the lack of its own modern fruit silo.
