CSTO comments on Armenia-Azerbaijan border situation

Tensions stemming from years of disputes are ongoing between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Caucasus, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) said. An expanded meeting of the leaders of the CSTO Secretariat and United Staff was held on Friday.

"Tensions that stem from the long years of disputes between Armenia and Azerbaijan remain in the Caucasus," the statement reads.

On Thursday, Baku said that the republic’s forces had taken control of heights and areas in the Lachin District.
