Russia records 8,636 daily COVID cases
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 8,636 over the past day to 22,679,739, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Wednesday. A day earlier, 7,141 daily cases were recorded.
As many as 1,294 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, down 14.5% from a day earlier. The number of hospitalized patients increased in 31 regions, while in 46 regions the figure decreased. The situation remained unchanged in eight regions. A day earlier, 1,513 people were rushed to hospitals.
Moscow’s COVID-19 cases surged by 1,519 over the past day versus 965 cases a day earlier, reaching 3,483,666, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. St. Petersburg’s COVID-19 cases increased by 947 over the past day versus 998 a day earlier, reaching 1,922,645.
Russia’s COVID-19 recoveries rose by 11,807 over the past day, reaching 22,049,429. A day earlier, some 12,264 patients recovered.
Russia’s COVID-19 death toll rose by 36 over the past day, reaching 397,420. A day earlier, 38 COVID-19 deaths were registered.
