Over million of foreigners visited Georgia since January

Since the beginning of 2023, Georgia has welcomed over 1.2 mn foreign citizens. Thus, the pre-pandemic levels are restored by almost 75%. More than 800,000 tourists have visited the country.

According to the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, since the beginning of this year, the number of visitors coming to Georgia exceeded the last year's figures by 110%.

Thus, from January to March, over 1.2 mn foreigners visited Georgia. The pre-pandemic levels restored by 74.7%. According to the ministry, during the January-March period, the number of visits related to recreation and leisure also increased.

845,300 tourists have already visited Georgia. This is 84% more than the previous year. The tourist flow is restored by 95.8%.
