Albania cancels visa-free travel for Russian citizens
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAlbania has waived its visa-free mode of entry for Russian nationals, according to the Albanian Embassy in Russia.
Previously, Russian citizens could visit visa-free from May until September and stay for up to 90 days. Now Russian citizens will now have to apply for a visa to travel to Albania.
"The Embassy of Albania in Russia informs that in accordance with the amendments of the Council of Ministers of Albania on April 20, 2023, the visa-free regime for Russian citizens (annually from May 1 to September 30) is canceled," the message published on the embassy's website reads.
