Four trillion rubles to be invested in North Caucasus development program

The Ministry of Regional Development of Russia will invest in the
development Program for the North Caucasus Federal District until 2015
nearly 4 trillion rubles, RIA Novosti reports.


The total amount of funding will be about 3,896 trillion rubles,
including federal money - about 2, 604 trillion rubles, 195.2 billion
rubles from the budgets of the North Caucasus Federal District and
about 1 096 billion rubles of extra-budgetary funds.

The basis for the development of the NCFD is represented by three
federal programs aimed at socio-economic development in Ingushetia in
2010-2016, in Chechnya in 2008 - 2013, and Southern Russia - in 2008 -
2013.

The program also provides projects for the socio-economic development
of specially protected eco-resorts in the region of Kavkazskie
Mineralnye Vody and in the Prigorodnyi District of North
Ossetia-Alania, populated by Ingush and Ossetian nationalities.
