CSTO summit to take place in Kazakhstan

The CSTO summit will be held in Kazakhstan on August 12 and will be devoted to assessing the situation in the CSTO territory, Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha informed the organization during a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Monday in Minsk.

Bordyuzha also highlighted the implementation of projects advanced by Belarus as the head of the CSTO countries. In particular, he mentioned the peacekeeping activities, institute partnership, and weapon program as part of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces.

Joint activities in military and economic spheres will also be addressed at the summit in Kazakhstan.
