Armenia and USA to hold first joint drills

Armenia and USa will hold their first joint military drills in 2012,
News Armenia reports.

US Deputy Secretary of State David Tonoyan attended talks with the
Armenian Defense Ministry in Washington on July 18-21.

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Oganyan will soon visit Washington.
The two states will negotiate peacekeeping cooperation. Armenia will
have training in Afghanistan. A batallion will be trained.
