Deputy head of Urvan's Department of the Interior in Kabardino-Balkaria attacked

A criminal case has been initiated into an attack on the deputy head of the Urvan District's department of the Interior in Kabardino-Balkaria, which resulted in the death of a policeman, RIA Novosti reports.

Two unknown persons on the Nalchik-Nartkala highway shot a BMW-325 car being driven by the deputy head of the Urvan District Department of the Interior, Amurbek Bitokhov.

Bitokhov died immediately, the assailants escaped.
