Georgian community in Armenia demands special status for their church

In the Yerevan district of Noragavit a small church of the Georgian community is situated on the territory of the Surb Gevorg Church. 25 years ago Armenia gave it to the Georgian community in Yerevan.

Father Alexander, who conducts services in the church, intends to ask the Georgian embassy in Armenia to grant legal status to the Georgian Orthodox Church in Armenia, Armenia Today reports.
