Batumi to host 13th General Knowledge Championship of South Caucasus

In Batumi on July 29-31 the 13th General Knowledge Championship of the South Caucasus will take place. The general sponsor of the contest is Caucasus Online. The Grand Cup will be played by teams from Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Trend reports.

55 teams will participate in the event. Members of the jury are famous players of the TV programme “What? Where? When”, Alexander Druz (St Petersburg), Alexander Rubin (Moscow), Ilya Novikov (Moscow) and Elena Potanina (Odessa).

The Azerbaijani team has won the Cup 5 times previously, Georgia – 4 times and Armenia – 3 times.
