Former Turkish FM takes on new role

Deputy of Türkiye's Grand National Assembly, former Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has taken on a new job.

Cavusoglu will lead the Turkish delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Trend reported.

He was Türkiye's Foreign Minister from 2014 to 2023. Cavusoglu was dismissed from his position in June, while Hakan Fidan was appointed Türkiye's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
