Number of tourists in Georgia increases by 45%

Adahzaira has been visited by 622,285 tourists, 443,483 of them are
"internal tourists", 178,802 - foreign. The number of tourists in
Georgia has increased by 45%, in Adzharia - by 61%, Business Georgia
reports.

The 600,000th tourist arrived in the region on July 24. Head of the
tourism department of Adzharia, Vazh Diasamidze, presented the couple
from Israel with a gift. Dafna and Ram Orens will visit Radison Blue
Batumi in July 2012.

Ram Oren said that it is his third visit to Georgia. He visited
Tbilisi, Kazbegi and Gidauri. This year he visited Batumi.
