Russian president to visit Turkey

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is going to visit Turkey in order to discuss with the country's leaders plans to construct missile defense system in Europe, 1news.az cites TRT.

That was announced today at a press conference in Ankara by Russia's permanent representative at NATO Dmitry Rogozin.

"Turkey is an important regional power, NATO's ally and our strategic partner," Rogozin said.
