Russia to help Abkhazia to organize elections

Russia is going to help Abkhazia to organize pre-term presidential elections, the head of the Russian Central Electoral Committee, Vladimir Churov, told ITAR-TASS.

"Our Abkhaz colleagues made such a request," Churov said, adding "deputy head of Central Electoral Committee Stanislav Vavilov has already left to Abkhazia."

The pre-term presidential elections in Abkhazia are being organized due to President Bagapsh's death.
