Azerbaijan invests $1bln in Georgia and over $4bln in Turkey

Azerbaijani business has started exporting investments to foreign
states, Minister for Economic Development Shakhin Mustafayev said at a
presentation of The Business Year-Azerbaijan 2011 magazine, marking
the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijani independence, Business Georgia
reports.

Azerbaijan has invested $4 billion in Turkey and plans to invest $6
billion more.

Azerbaijan has invested a total of $1 billion in Georgia. Georgia has
recognized the subsidiary of SOCAR in the country the best investor
and tax payer of the year.
