Consumer loan demand grows in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is registering  high demand for consumer loans, Trend reports.

The National Bank of Kazakhstan registered a growth in demand for such
loans in 90% of banks.

The main purposes of such loans are home renovation, vacations,
electronics and celebrations. 47% of banks noted higher demand for
mortgages, 46% had the indicator unchanged.

Banks are reducing interest rates and commission fees, prolonging
credit terms, reconsidering pledge rates and modernizing services.
The National Bank underlined that banks are still cautious and
scrupulously check their clients.
