US embassy denies Yerevan airport lease reports

The US embassy in Armenia has dismissed reports that Washington is to lease the Erebuni airport of Yerevan, news.am reports. It said the White House has no such plans.

The report was published by the Aikakan Zhamanak newspaper, which said that negotiations on renting out the airport to the US for military and transport purposes were being held.
