Caspian states to meet on environmental protection in Kazakhstan’s Aktau

Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan that signed the framework convention on protection of the environment of the Caspian Sea will meet in Kazakhstan’s Aktau on August 10-11, Trend reports.

The convention was signed in Tehran on November 4, 2003.

Azerbaijan will be represented by Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources Rauf Gajiyev.
