Iranian MP: 'Mubarak trial deterrent for dictators'

A member of Iranian Parliament says the court trial of former Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak will not be genuine and will act more as deterrent for other dictators, Press TV reports.

The trial of a dictator such as Mubarak was a preventive measure which will inform other dictators of nations' demands, a member of the Majlis Judicial and Legal Committee Mousa Qorbani said on Wednesday. 

“Mubarak's trial was a positive response to the public opinion of the Egyptian people,” Qorbani added.
