Oldest Chechen resident celebrates 121st birthday

In Chechnya there are 187 centenarians alive at the moment, Yuga.ru reports.

According to the press service of the head and government of Chechnya, the oldest resident of the republic lives in the village of Goyskoe in the Urus-Martan region.

His name is Magomed Labazanov. He was born in 1890 and this year he celebrates his 121st birthday.

Among women, first place is taken by Tamara Amerkhanova from the Shalinsk region, who was born in 1891.
