About half of Dagestani schools violate fire safety measures

48% of Dagestani schools violate fire safety, IA Dagestan reports.

The republic has 1636 education centers, 229 of them are in a state of
emergency, 246 in rundown condition. 149 more are made of pre-fab
constructions.

The head of the Dagestani surveillance services of the Emergencies
Ministry, Yusup Supyanov, said that all the schools were informed
about fulfilment of fire safety measures.

12,724 measures are to be taken at schools to fulfil fire safety
measures. 1531 people were punished. 305 cases were initiated,
resulting in the halting of school functioning, 117 were fully closed.

793 education centers (48.4% of all) are exploited with violations.
Most violations were registered in Buynaksky, the Khasavyurtovsky
District and the City of Dagestanskiye Ogni.
