Tehran renames streets after Iranian FM, president

The Tehran city council has decided to name two streets and one highway after Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian who died in a helicopter crash.

The Islamic City Council of Tehran decided to rename a long section of the Be’sat Highway and a section of East Pasteur Street after Raisi.

The Koushk-e Mesri Street in downtown Tehran, where the Iranian Foreign Ministry is located, will be renamed after Amirabdollahian.
