Irakli Kobakhidze excludes 'Maidan' taking place in Georgia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThere will be no 'Maidan' in Georgia, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said after the foreign ministers from Latvia, Estonia and Iceland joined the opposition rally in Tbilisi.
“I want to remind everyone of the consequences of the 'Maidan' for Ukraine. The Ukrainian government has been externally appointed multiple times, with the appointees ultimately avoiding responsibility for subsequent events," Kobakhidze said.
The Georgian PM emphasized the importance of maintaining Georgia’s independence.
“The most important thing we should be careful about is our country’s independence," Kobakhidze said.
