When Türkiye to withdraw troops from Syria

The Turkish authorities have admitted the possibility of withdrawing their troops from Syrian territory. The head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense made a corresponding statement. Yashar Güler also named the condition under which this scenario would be realized.
Türkiye can withdraw its troops from Syria, the republic’s defense minister said.
According to Yaşar Güler, such a possibility may be considered by Ankara.
“We can discuss the withdrawal of our troops from Syria when the security of our borders is fully ensured and if such a need arises,”
- the head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense said.
In addition, Güler said that Syria managed to cope with the ISIS terrorist group banned in Russia thanks to Türkiye.
