Georgia's ruling party not afraid of U.S. sanctions
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the Georgian Dream party Kakha Kaladze highlighted the ruling party’s “commitment to the interests of the country” following the U.S. decision to impose visa restrictions on members of the Georgian Dream party following its adoption of the foreign agency law.
"This does not change our attitude towards the homeland, it does not change our decision when it comes to the interests of the country, the future of this country. No one is afraid of these sanctions”, Kaladze said.
The Tbilisi mayor further noted the Georgian government was “ready to reboot” the strategic partnership relationship with the U.S. and have “genuine and healthy” relations.
