Azerbaijan positively assesses negotiations with Armenia

The Azerbaijani leader stated that there are good opportunities for progress in negotiations with Armenia. In particular, a favorable climate has been created for this: a ceasefire has been maintained on the joint border for about 2 years.
A steady positive trend has emerged in the negotiation process between Baku and Yerevan, the head of the Azerbaijani Republic said. In particular, according to him, the state border, the length of which is about 13 km, was reconciled.
“Through negotiations, four villages in the Gazakh district, which were under occupation for over 30 years, were returned to Azerbaijan, and we regard this as a positive fact,”
– Ilham Aliyev said.
He also drew attention to the fact that a ceasefire has been maintained on the joint border for about 2 years.
