World Bank to issue loan worth $30 million to Azerbaijan

the World Bank Joseph Owen, SalamNews reports.
The main goal of the meeting was discussions of the second Azerbaijani
agriculture project and its strategy. The minister noted progress
achieved by other agriculture projects in Azerbaijan, giving farmers
access to credits and financial resources.
Abasov noted that agricultural investments create a basis for further
progress. The second agriculture project will be worth $54 million.
$30 million of the sum will be financed by the WB, $20 million by
Azerbaijani government and $4 million by communities. Realization of
the project will improve rural infrastructure, living standards and
reduce migration.
