Baku sends Yerevan 10th package of peace treaty proposals
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaYerevan has received the 10th package of proposals on the draft peace agreement from Baku, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan said.
"The process is quite dynamic, sometimes there is progress, sometimes not. But we are working," Grigoryan said.
Details of the new version of the draft peace agreement between the two countries have not been disclosed, but according to the parties, significant progress in the coordination process has been achieved.
In early June, during the meeting with parliamentary officials from Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Baku, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev touched upon the topic of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement. In particular, he pointed to the fact that the Constitution of Armenia contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
Baku’s position is based on international legal norms; Azerbaijan has never had any territorial claims against any country, including Armenia, the Azerbaijani leader added.
