Armenia accuses Russia of stopping arms supplies
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSecretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan accused Russia of non-compliance with contracts to provide the republic with weapons.
According to him, Armenia’s technico-military collaboration with Russia has dropped from 95% to less than 10%.
The Secretary of the Security Council noted that how the country’s relations with Russia will develop in security depends on how Moscow will respond to all the problems that exist.
"It was Russia that decided not to supply weapons and ammunition. By the way, they have not yet fully fulfilled what was stipulated by the contracts. It is interesting that even in the conditions of such problems, when they regularly complain that Armenia buys weapons from other countries, they still do not continue supplies under the contracts signed in 2021 and 2022," Grigoryan said.
The official explained that the main reason is the situation in Ukraine.
It's not the first time Armenia has accused Russia of failing to fulfill obligations since 2022.
