Slavic Bazaar festival in Belarus to be held without Armenia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenia has decided not to attend the annual Slavic Bazaar festival in Belarus, which will be held in Vitebsk from July 9 to 15. This is stated by the SNCO "State College of Culture and Art" named after Sh. Aznavour.
The refusal to come to the event is connected with the statement of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. Its essence is that neither Pashinyan himself nor any other government official will go to the Republic of Belarus as long as Alexander Lukashenko is the President of the republic.
Nevertheless, it is noted that the Armenian side continues to value the cultural ties that have developed between the countries over the years of cooperation.
The country also hopes to overcome the accumulated tension between peoples and return to stable and sustainable relations based on mutual respect and harmony in the future.
