Gyumri airport evacuated amid bomb report

Armenia's Shirak airport in Gyumri has been evacuated following a bomb threat, with police responding to alarm received by the Armenian Interior Ministry.

"The area is currently cordoned off as authorities verify the threat," the ministry spokesman Narek Sarkisyan said.

Airport personnel have been evacuated, and emergency responders, including firefighters and sappers from the Gyumri Rescue Service, are on-site.

Gyumri police are compiling information related to the incident.
