Armenia's parade units did not participate in the Independence Day parade in Minsk despite being invited, State Secretary of the Belarus Security Council Alexander Volfovich said, citing "far-fetched, subjective reasons" for their absence.

When questioned about Armenia's participation, Volfovich confirmed that Armenia had been invited but did not attend.

"In the case of Armenia, they were also invited. But for some far-fetched, most likely subjective reasons, unfortunately, Armenia's delegation, Armenia's parade calculations did not arrive to take part in the parade. Although the grandfathers and great-grandfathers of the Armenian people took part in the liberation of Belarus, the Soviet Union, participated in the Great Patriotic War," Volfovich said.

The parade, honoring Belarus' Independence Day, featured representatives from several countries, including Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, who marched in a solemn procession.
