Israeli threats to Lebanon jeopardize peace in Middle East, Erdoğan says

During a meeting with Vladimir Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced Ankara's readiness to cooperate for a settlement in Syria. The leaders also discussed the situation in the Middle East.
At the meeting between the Presidents of Russia and Türkiye, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the issue of Syrian settlement was discussed, the office of the Turkish leader informs.
During the negotiations, Erdoğan said that Türkiye is committed to cooperation to resolve the Syrian issue and fight against terrorism in this country.
He recalled taking steps to end the instability that has arisen in Syria as a result of the civil war and creates the ground for terrorist organizations.
The Turkish leader also noted that Israel's attack on Palestine and threats to Lebanon are jeopardizing peace and tranquility in the Middle East.
