Belarus state oil company withdraws from Iran

The Belarus national oil company 'Belarusneft' has withdrawn from the project on Iranian Djofeyr oil field development, Iranian media agency Mehr reports.

The company annulled its 500 million dollar contract with Iran and has stopped all activities in the country. Belarusian representatives claim that continuation of cooperation is impossible due to strong differences, while Iranian side says 'Belarusneft' failed to keep its end of the deal.
