Tire warehouse on fire in Aksay

200 square meters of a tire warehouse are engulfed in flames in the city of Aksay, Rostov Oblast. 17 firefighters are working the scene. The fire has now been localized.
In the Rostov Oblast, a fire broke out in a tire warehouse with an area of 200 square meters. The flames engulfed most of the warehouse, threatening surrounding buildings. 17 people with 6 pieces of equipment were sent to the scene to extinguish the fire.
“A report was received about a fire in the city of Aksay, Zapadnaya str, 5A. A tire warehouse covering an area of 200 square meters is on fire,”
– the representative of the Russian EMERCOm for the region informed.
According to the preliminary version, the fire could have occurred due to careless handling of the fire or a short circuit. In addition, adverse weather conditions such as strong winds and high temperatures could have contributed to the rapid spread of the fire.
