Euro 2024: Netherlands beat Türkiye

The quarterfinal match of the European Football Championship between the national teams of the Netherlands and Türkiye ended in Berlin yesterday.

Turkish defender Samet Akaydin opened the scoring in the 35th minute. The Netherlands equalized the score in the 70th minute thanks to a precise strike from defender Stefan de Vrij, and Turkish defender Mert Müldür scored an own goal in a fight with Dutch midfielder Kodi Gakpo in the 76th minute.

Thus, the Netherlands reached the Euro semi-finals. At this stage, their opponent will be the English team. The game will take place on July 10 and will begin at 22:00 (Moscow time).

Another match of the semi-finals will be between Spain and France. It will kick off on July 9 at 22:00 (Moscow time).
