Pezeshkian confirms support for Hezbollah

Iran will continue to support Hezbollah. This was announced by the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, on July 9.

"Iran has always supported the resistance of the peoples of the region against the illegitimate Zionist regime. Support for the resistance is rooted in Iran's fundamental policies, the ideals of the late Imam Khomeini, and the instructions of the Supreme Leader, and will continue with the same strength",

Masoud Pezeshkian said.

He also expressed confidence that the resistance forces in the region will not allow Israel to continue its military actions against Palestine and other countries.

Last week, an adviser to the Supreme Leader of Iran announced the country's readiness to help Hezbollah in the fight against Israel.
