Erdoğan wishes peace to Baku and Yerevan

Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered a question related to the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan at a press conference in Washington.

The President of the country wished Azerbaijan and Armenia a speedy signing of a peace agreement. He noted that Ankara wanted to achieve this peace as soon as possible.

The head of the republic emphasized that the leadership of Azerbaijan, as well as the Armenian authorities, are taking positive steps in this direction.

Earlier in Washington, negotiations were held between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan, as well as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The parties highly appreciated the actions aimed at concluding peace in the South Caucasus. They agreed to continue work on signing the document.
