Russia gave an agreman to Gurgen Arsenyan, but he will become the new ambassador of Armenia in Moscow no earlier than by the beginning of autumn. For unknown reasons, Yerevan is delaying the procedure.
As Armenian media with connections to the ruling Civil Contract party write, MP Gurgen Arsenyan will take the post of Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation instead of Vagharshak Harutyunyan, no earlier than by September. The authorities are too slow to deal with the issue of changing the diplomatic representative in Moscow.
It is clarified that Moscow gave an agreement to replace Vagharshak Harutyunyan with Gurgen Arsenyan two months ago, and the new ambassador could arrive in the Russian Federation already this summer, but the necessary procedures for this have not yet been carried out in Armenia.
