Azerbaijani President strongly condemns assassination attempt on Trump

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev condemned the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, a participant in the US election race.

"Appalled and shocked by the attack on President Trump. We strongly condemn this act of political violence. We wish President Trump a soonest recovery",

Ilham Aliyev said.

Trump was shot in the right ear during a speech in Pennsylvania. The shooter has been eliminated. He is a 20-year-old guy who, according to intelligence services, acted alone. Trump's life is not in danger.
