Ilham Aliyev holds meetings with European leaders in London
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAzerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a number of meetings of the sidelines of the summit of the European Political Community in Oxford, the UK.
Thus, Ilham Aliyev held talks with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, focused on bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. The sides recalled the Hungarian Prime Minister’s visit to Shusha for the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States and the meetings held during the summit.
The Azerbaijan leader also held talks with President of the Swiss Confederation Viola Amherd. During the conversation, they exchanged views on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland and the development of the regional peace agenda.
The sides discussed the contributions of Swiss companies to the restoration and construction efforts in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories. The Presidents also exchanged views on COP29 and climate change.
In addition, Ilham Aliyev met with Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Luc Frieden.
Later, Ilham Aliyev took part in a round table on "Energy and Connectivity" within the framework of the IV summit of the European Political Community.
