Interior minister invited to court for case on unrest at Manezhnaya Square

People involved in the mass unrest on Manezhnaya Square in Moscow in
December 2010 have requested the attendance of Interior Minister
Rashid Nurgaliyev, Police Chief of Moscow Vladimir Kolokoltsev and
former head of the Information Department of the Main Police
Directorate Victor Biryukov as witnesses to the court, lawyer Dmitry
Agranovsky said, ITAR-TASS reports.


Defendant Ruslan Khubayev requested the officials to attend the court.
Lawyer Agranovsky said that Kolokoltsev and Biryukov were at
Manezhnaya Square during the disorders. Nurgaliyev is to be asked
where he received information that the disorders had been organized by
leftist radicals.
