Russia interested in Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project

Russia in interested in Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project, RIA Novosti cites Russian Energy Minister Sergey Shmatko as saying today.

"Russia is indeed interested in such a projects," the minister said.

Today Sergey Smatko met the delegation of the Afghan Industry and Trade Ministry. The parties signed a cooperation agreement. Previously president Dmitry Medvedev told The Times of India that Russia main join the project.
