Abkhaz presidential candidate has a road accident

Today, Sergey Shamba, a candidate for the Abkhaz presidential chair, had a traffic accident while he was heading to meet his supporters, ITAR-TASS reports. The accident occurred in the Gagra region of the country.

Mr Shamba sustained minor injuries, his bodyguard was also hurt. According to the medics, those injured are no longer in danger. Despite the accident Sergey Shamba plans to take part in TV debates scheduled for this evening.
