Heavy rains erode road connecting Georgia and Azerbaijan

Heavy rains have eroded the road connecting Georgia and Azerbaijan, Governor of the Kakheti Region Georgi Gviniashvili said that restoration started on August 22, Georgia Online reports.

The rains also submerged villages, roads and bridges. The locals were evacuated.
