Yerevan concludes Fifth Pan-Armenian Games

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan handed out awards at the Fifth
Pan-Armenian Games, News Armenia reports.

The delegation from Buenos Aires was considered the best delegation,
the Fair Game Award went to the delegation from Iran’s Urmia, the For
Stamina and Victory Spirit Award was handed to Russia’s Chaltyr, the
Opening of the Year Award was given to the delegation from Turkey.

Kristina Nadzharyan from Jerusalem was considered the most beautiful
athlete, followed by Delfin Demircyan from Istanbul and Marina
Topollan from Buenos Aires.

The president underlined the proper organization of the games. Many
people are willing to see the games more frequently than every 4
years.

The games concluded with a concert. There were 50 medal groups. Most
of them were awarded to Yerevan, including 18 gold, 12 silver and 11
bronze medals. The games included football, basketball, volleyball,
futsal, tennis, table tennis, chess, badminton, swimming and
athletics.
