Fighting continues in Tripoli
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSkirmishes continue Monday afternoon in the Libyan capital of Tripoli, most of which was captured earlier by rebel forces, The Guardian reports.
During the night, the rebels managed to enter the city. They captured the greatest part of Tripoli and detained Muammar Gaddafi's sons Muhamed and Seif al-Islam. Gaddafi's whereabouts aren't clear.
At the same time, Libyan diplomats in several countries of the world, including Syria and Belarus, recognized the Transitional National Council as the only legitimate power in the country. However, the Libyan Embassy in Russia still hasn't made an official statement.
