Minsk Group co-chairmen to arrive in Caucasus in late March

"Work with the co-chairmen is going ahead, they’ve met with the foreign minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mamedyarov, and next week they will meet in Moscow with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Nesterenko said on Thursday during a briefing in Moscow, Vesti TV channel reports.

"After the talks, the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group, according to results of  all the meetings, are going to visit Baku and Yerevan to try to bring the sides together in the question of the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict in late March - early April," Nesterenko said.

He said that Russia viewed the negotiations as progressing normally, with discussions continuing on the updated version of the Madrid principles, the main points of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement, which was transferred to the parties by the OSCE Minsk Group.
