Three Armenian citizens detained in Georgia

Three Armenian citizens detained in Georgia on charges gold smuggling, News.am cites Georgian media.

Citizens of Armenia Karen Melikyan, Garegin Hovhannisyan and Araik Paronyan were detained for smuggling of a large quantity of gold jewelry. 

They supposedly imported about 500 grams of gold products without permission of the Georgian authorities. The cost of seized jewelry was estimated as $19,000.
